Patrice
Evans, Violinist
Originally
from Cleveland, Ohio, Patrice studied with members of the Cleveland Orchestra
while growing up. She attended Florida State University on a full
scholarship. In addition, Patrice has been a soloist with the Jacksonville
Symphony Orchestra, and the Breckenridge Music Festival. Locally,
she has been active as both a performer, teacher and is a full time member
of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.
Karen
Pommerich, Violinist
Karen Pommerich joined the Jacksonville Symphony in 1991. Originally from Dubuque, IA, she holds a
Master’s degree from Florida State University. She also performs with the IRIS Orchestra and
the Colorado Music Festival, and teaches private lessons in Jacksonville.
Susan
Pardue, Violist
Susan received her Masters' from Juilliard, where she studied with
William Lincer. She was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study
in Florence, Italy, with Piero Farulli. She is a member of the Jacksonville
Symphony Orchestra and also performs in Breckenridge, Colorado, playing
chamber music and is assistant principal in the Breckenridge Chamber Orchestra.
Linda
Minke, Cellist
Linda Minke is a founding member of the Memphis Chamber Music Society.
She was assistant principal cello of the Memphis Symphony and a noted
Suzuki pedagogue at Rhodes College. Since 1993 she has performed
in both the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and the Savannah Symphony.
